Summary
UX/UI design for the digital catalog and e-commerce platform of Cepe Editora, the official publishing house of the state of Pernambuco. The site features an atmospheric editorial aesthetic, book browsing by category and collection, and responsive layouts across web and mobile.

Problem

Cepe Editora needed a better way to present its catalog online, promote authors, and make it easier for visitors to discover and buy books.

Solution

The website was designed with a modern and interactive UX/UI approach focused on immersion and storytelling. The experience combined parallax effects, animated transitions, and interactive 3D book covers to create a visually rich environment that made exploring books feel more engaging and dynamic.

I organized the catalog by category and collection, with clear paths to top-selling titles and author pages. Visual themes drawn from each book's cover and tone gave different sections of the site a distinct feel, reinforcing the emotional connection between readers and the content.

Results

The site gave Cepe Editora a more compelling digital presence for its books and authors. The visual approach made the catalog easier and more enjoyable to browse, and the 3D book interactions became a distinctive feature of the experience.
