Role
UX/UI Designer
Summary
Website redesign for Continente, a Brazilian magazine focused on regional culture and the arts scene in Pernambuco. The goal was to improve usability, add a side navigation centered on the latest edition, and carry the print magazine's visual character into the digital experience.
UX / UI Design project intro — Continente magazine logo, a bold lime-yellow 'C' on a lime square, centered against a desaturated street photography background of a classic Brazilian urban scene.

Problem

Continente needed a website redesign that improved usability and simplified navigation while preserving the editorial identity of the magazine. The challenge was to update the digital experience and make the content easier to explore without losing the visual character the magazine is known for.

Solution

The website was redesigned with a cleaner UX focused on content discovery and readability. A side navigation centered on the latest magazine edition helped users navigate articles and editorial sections more easily.

The visual direction took cues from the print magazine's bold typography and distinctive layout, while keeping the interface clean and readable. The goal was to reflect the magazine's character without getting in the way of the reading experience.

Results

The redesign gave Continente a cleaner, more readable site that felt consistent with the print magazine. Simplified navigation made it easier for readers to find content, and the updated visual style brought the magazine's identity into the digital space.
